RUDOLPH RICHARD DAVIS MET LEE HARVEY OSWALD TWICE

Washington, D.C. (JFK ASSASSINATION) On October 27, 2017, President Donald Trump authorized release of more than 2800 files on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.  

The President said...

"The American public expects -- and deserves -- its government to provide as much access as possible to the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records so that the people may finally be fully informed about all aspects of this pivotal event."

Today we will discuss Record #180-10141-10191, a memorandum of a meeting between an agent of the FBI and Rudolph Richard Davis*.  

The memo includes the following fragments of information...

"Rudolph Richard Davis alleges...(that he) met LHO (Lee Harvey Oswald) twice;  once passing out handbills and once went to his house."

In doing a little research on Davis we found that he "apparently managed the training camp (run by a Cuban exile group)...on the far side of Lake Pontchartrain in July 1963."  

This source (www.mcadams.posc.mu.edu) indicates there was no association between Davis and the CIA and that that agency had nothing to do with the training site.  Further, the source states that Rudolph Richard Davis had been characterized as a "heavy drinker with a vivid imagination."

Colonel William Bishop who reportedly worked as a CIA hit man said shortly before his death in 1990 that Lee Harvey Oswald was "in the group out there at the Pontchartrain camp trying to get in with the anti-Castro exiles."

*Rudolph Richard Davis was one of the men associated with Guy Banister^ who went to Lee Harvey Oswald's house on Magazine Street to find out what he was up to after passing out pro-Castro leaflets in New Orleans.  Davis told the FBI in 1967 that he was not associated with the "Minutemen", a militant anti-Communist group.

^Guy Banister (1901-1964) was a private investigator who reportedly worked for the FBI & was said by Jim Garrison to have been involved in the JFK assassination.  

RRD was murdered in El Carmen & according to his wife who witnessed the crime scene "was sure (he) was savagely attacked....robbed and gagged."

A CRUEL & SHOCKING ACT OF VIOLENCE

WARREN REPORT SAYS OSWALD ACTED ALONE IN KILLING JFK

Washington, D.C. (JFK ASSASSINATION) Fifty-three years ago today, September 27, 1964, The President's Commission on the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy published its final 888 page report.

The Warren Commission*, as it came to be known, was created by Executive Order 11130 signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson on November 29, 1963 one week after JFK's assassination.  The commission held its first meeting on the 2nd floor of the National Archives Building in Washington, D.C. on December 5, 1963.

The commission, chaired by Chief Justice Earl Warren of California, included Richard Russell, Jr. (D-GA), John Sherman Cooper (R-Kentucky), Hale Boggs (D-Louisiana), Gerald R. Ford (R-Michigan), Allen Dulles (former CIA director), & John J. McCloy (former president of the World Bank).

The commission concluded that, from the "available evidence," Lee Harvey Oswald** was the lone assassin and there was no conspiracy "foreign or domestic."  The Warren Report's summary report was followed about two months later with publication of 26 volumes of hearings and and exhibits.  

The Mary Ferrell Foundation website says...

"While a majority of Americans have long disbelieved the Warren Report, the Commission's support in some quarters remains high."


*The introduction of the Warren Report describes the assassination of President Kennedy as "a cruel and shocking act of violence directed against a man, a family, a nation and against all mankind."

**Lee Harvey Oswald was shot and killed by nightclub owner Jack Ruby on November 24, 1963 in the basement of Dallas City Jail as the suspect was being transferred to the County Jail.

LEE HARVEY OSWALD'S MIDNIGHT PRESS CONFERENCE

Lee Harvey Oswald was arraigned for killing officer Tippit at 7:10 p.m. (CST) on Friday evening, November 22, 1963.

Dallas detectives accompany Lee Harvey Oswald to the basement of police headquarters for a "midnight" press conference.

Oswald is asked if he shot the President.  He answers in a calm tone of voice:


"No Sir, I have not been charged with that.  The first thing I heard about it was when a reporter in the hall asked me that question."

Oswald goes on to say that he was "questioned by a judge.  I protested at that time that I was not allowed legal representation during that very short and sweet hearing."

He asks that "someone to come forward and give me legal assistance".

As he is taken back to his cell a reporter asks how he got the bruise above his eye.  Oswald leans into the microphone & says:  "A policeman hit me."
