Several witnesses, but not all, identify Oswald as the killer of Tippit.
The corner of 10th & Patton is about a mile from Oswald's rooming house.
The Warren Commission had no evidence of how he got there but reasoned that he could have walked the distance in 15 minutes.

At 1:30 p.m., Oswald is seen by Hardy Shoe Store manager, Johnny Brewer, standing at the entrance to his store looking away from the street where police cars were racing by.
Brewer follows Oswald down Jefferson Avenue to the Texas Theater where the suspect goes inside without buying a ticket.
Dallas police officers arrive, turn on the house lights & begin going up the aisles searching each patron.
When they reach Oswald near the rear, he stands up, pulls out his pistol, strikes an officer in the face & yells "It's all over now!"
