MORE JFK RECORDS RELEASED, NO NEW REVELATIONS?
Washington, D.C. (JFKASSASSINATION) On December 15, 2021, "the National Archives...made public nearly 1,500 documents related to the U.S. government's investigation into the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy."
Eric Tucker of Associated Press writes that "there was no immediate indication that the records contained new revelations that could radically reshape the public's understanding of the events surrounding the Nov. 22 1963 assassination of Kennedy in Dallas at the hands of gunman Lee Harvey Oswald."
As Gomer Pyle would say, "surprise! surprise!"
So what are you telling us, Mr. Tucker: Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin? Well now, that's breaking news, for sure.
Since you finish your article by telling readers that the Warren Commission (in 1964) "concluded that Oswald had been the lone gunman, and another congressional probe in 1979 found no evidence to support the theory that the CIA had been involved," it seems that's what you believe as well.
Is there some reason you left out the part about a second shooter?
"The HSCA (House Select Committee on Assassinations)," 1976-1979, writes Vince Palamara, "came to the conclusion that Oswald fired all the deadly shots (but) they believed a shot did indeed come from the grassy knoll by an an unknown assailant and that the shot missed."
So what if it missed, the HSCA says there were two shooters and that makes it a conspiracy!
Add to that, Jeremy Gunn, General Counsel for the ARRB (Assassinations Records Review Board) 1994-1998, recently said...
"I am convinced that Oswald would have been found not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. There is just no question he is not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt."
