HOW COULD JFK'S EXIT WOUND BE IN THE RIGHT REAR OF HIS HEAD IF THE SHOT CAME FROM THE RIGHT REAR?

Question to Ponder #5.

How could JFK have an exit wound in the right rear of his head if the shot came from his right rear (TSBD 6th floor)?

The Warren Report (1964) says the following:

"(A) bullet...struck (JFK) in the rear...of his head.  The shot...(was) fired from the 6th floor window....of the Texas School Book Depository."

In support of their statement and conclusion, the Warren Commission published the following illustration:

                     Warren Report Exhibit

This illustration was supposedly made from a photograph taken at autopsy.*

*Note the small "bullet hole" at the of the head to the right of the ruler.

This illustration is NOT what the back of JFK's head looked like immediately after the shooting or when the autopsy was conducted at Bethesda.**

**We will give evidence for this in future posts.

Remember Clint Hill's testimony to the Warren Commission which we discussed yesterday?

"The right rear portion of his head was missing. It was lying in the rear seat of the car. His brain was exposed. There was blood and bits of brain all over the entire rear portion of the car.

Mrs. Kennedy was completely covered with blood. There was so much blood you could not tell if there had been any other wound or not, except for the one large gaping wound in the right rear portion of the head..".

If the shot came from the right rear of JFK's position at the time he was hit in the head, the bullet could not have exited from the right rear.  It had to exit somewhere toward the front.

There is no evidence that I have seen that JFK had any "exit" wounds toward the front of his head.
