BOBBY HARGIS HIT BY JFK'S BLOOD AND BRAIN MATTER

Today we continue our look at Sherry Fiester's final chapter in "Enemy of the Truth" titled THE WITNESSES by focusing on Dallas Police Officer Bobby Hargis.*
*Bobby Hargis was part of the motorcycle escort for the motorcade. He was riding behind the Presidential car near the left rear fender.
Mr. Hargis recounted his experience in a New York Times news article dated Sunday, November 24, 1963. He said...
"We turned left onto Elm Street. I was right along side the rear fender on the left side of the President's car, near Mrs. Kennedy, when I heard the first explosion. I knew it was a shot.
As...Mrs. Kennedy turned toward (JFK)...he got hit in the side of his head, spinning it around. I was splattered with blood. Then I felt something hit me. It could have been concrete...but I thought at first I might have been hit."
According to a Dallas Morning News story of 2003, Mr. Hargis had a recurring dream over the years since the assassination that he is chasing Lee Harvey Oswald but never quite catches him.
Sherry Fiester writes that she had the pleasure of attending a Lancer meeting for students at which Bobby Hargis was speaking.
Sherry describes Bobby as a...
"big guy...principled...exuding confidence and trust."
Sherry tells how she asked Bobby to describe "the blood spatter from JFK's fatal headshot."
He responded by saying the President's blood left the back of the head in "copious amounts."
The retired officer added...
"It was as if a bucket of blood was thrown from the back of his head; it spread out and hung in the air for a minute."
Sherry then says that after Officer Hargis talked to the students, a question and answer period was held. During this time, a parent-chaparone rudely asked Mr. Hargis why he hadn't tried to do something to stop JFK from being killed.
I wouldn't have expected that kind of question from even one of the students. It not only shows a lack of knowledge of the circumstances surrounding JFK's death, but it also demonstrates a total lack of respect and compassion for Bobby Hargis.
Sherry Fiester took matters in her own hands. She walked to the front of the room, looked the audience in the eyes and said...
"Wearing a uniform doesn't make you able to stop a speeding bullet. Neither Bobby Hargis nor anyone else in that motorcade could have stopped that bullet."
